Chair Pilates

This gentle and supportive class is ideal for:

  • Anyone who finds getting down to, or up from the floor a challenge & feels more comfortable sitting or standing
  • Returning to fitness after an injury
  • Pre or Postnatal
  • Those recovering from surgery or managing chronic injuries
  • If you're feeling unsure about joining a regular mat Pilates class

What to expect:
During a 45 minute session with Joanne, we'll explore a range of exercises from seated and standing positions, work on balance, joint flexibility, and strength, and include strategies to help you safely get up from the floor. We'll also use small equipment like resistance bands, soft balls, and prickle balls — great tools for supporting bone health and managing osteoporosis.

You’ll get all the variety and benefits of a traditional mat Pilates class — just with the support of a chair!
